"The location is really out of the way / in the country, which we picked and which suited us because we love the country and it was close to the places in the area we wanted to visit. We had donkys, chickens and rabbits to view from the small balcony and a very cute young cat who came for a pet every morning. The accommodation is very clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked, washing machine worked, wifi was great and the kitchen has a supply of most things that you will need. We did not really cook as we had big lunches every day and then just picked up something small to warm up when we returned. Lem and Judith and lovely, friendly and very helpful. I actually wish we were staying the week so we could of sat down and had a few drinks with them. I would stay there again."

"I am going to mention a couple of things for the benifit of others but they are not deal breakers by any means. It would be nice if there was a microwave. There is a bit of a carry from the car to the accommodation and then you have to go up stairs, so a heavy bag could be a problem for some. For us it was fine. We had the worst weather for the first two days, so at least in winter have good shoes or boots to walk around."

"This tucked-away haven of peace was just perfect for us. The stunningly converted modern wooden loft room sits under huge beams/rafters. With one gabled end wall all glassed and sky lights throughout, it is light and yet cosy. The decor is very tasteful, the furniture is exactly what’s needed and it has all mod cons too, including a coffee machine, fridge and induction hob. It looks out over the Normandy countryside and directly onto the paddock where three gorgeous donkeys munch and occasionally say Ee-aw! The beds were comfy and the host is nearby ready to help, quick to communicate, but also gave us privacy. I was allowed to feed carrots to the donkeys, a sweet highlight of our stay! Thanks Judith & Lem for making our beautiful, peaceful, rural idyll so comfortable for us."

"The only thing I’d have added were a couple of spare blankets just to weigh down the light duvets in February, as we don’t like much heating on at night - but a spare pair of socks did the trick! Also obviously the stairs up to the roof room would preclude anyone disabled getting up there but the photo makes it clear it’s high up! Overall fantastic, thank you."

"La Trouverie is literally a slice of heaven. Calm, serene, quiet, comfortable. The apartment has a great small kitchen with all you need to cook breakfast or a larger meal. It is also immaculately clean. The beds are more comfortable than what I have at home. The scenery is majestic; and last but not least, our hosts must be the most kind people I have ever met. We felt welcomed and privileged for them to share their property. Added bonus are the farm animals and their mascot cat. The location is fairly central to Mt. St. Michel and the Normandie beaches."

"Prachtig, compleet huisje in een mooie omgeving. Naast de ezels, kippen, haan en katten op het erf zag ik eekhoorntjes en hoorde ik 's avonds een oehoe. Mooi uitgangspunt om de landingsstranden, Mont St. Michel of andere minder bekende dingen te bezoeken zoals het scheepskerkhof bij Saint Malo en Batterie de Caqueret."
